Cold

It has been pretty warm lately, in the 80's, but right now we are experiencing a "cold front." What is a "cold front," how can one explain it? Why did it come so randomly and why did it come in our direction?

A cold front defined as the leading edge of a cooler and drier mass of air. The air with greater density wedges under the less dense warmer air, lifting it, which can cause the formation of a narrow line of showers and thunderstorms when enough moisture is present. It didnt come so randomly because the north is experiencing abnormal cold weather early in the season. It came in our direction cause of the pacific currents :(.

A cold front is just a cold mass of air that sweeps over land. This did not occur randomly because the North has not been having normal cold weather. The cold fronts are being pushed toward us because of the pacific wind currents.

A cold front is defined as a front that leads a mass of cooler, drier air into a region. Cold fronts for Floridians don't occur very often and usually only come during the winter time. They usually arent too strong, but will drop our temperatures ten or fifteen degrees. I wait for cold fronts to come through just so I can pull out a cute sweater or two. I don't know why mother nature created them, but I know I don't have a problem with them.
